   Free Cover Crop Seeds Available

   With fall right around the corner, it’s time to think about cover crops! Cover crops are planted in the garden to boost soil health before the next growing season. They can build soil organic matter, recycle nutrients, and control weeds.  

2. Pollinator Palooza: August 8th!

   The Community Mural Park (CMP) is in full bloom, to the delight of pollinators! Join us at the park on Saturday, August 8th, from 10 AM to 12 PM for a Pollinator Palooza led by the Madison County Master Gardener Volunteers.

   Hay Testing Now Available

   Producing quality forage continues to be a struggle this year due to warm, wet weather. Last year’s forage testing showed a lack of sufficient nutrients in most first cutting hay, meaning supplementation could be needed.
