4-H CLUB NEWS:
The "Yes We Can" 4-H club and the Madison County 4-H program would like to invite you to the first annual "4-H Trunk or Treat" Monday, October 30, 5:30-7:30 p.m, in the Madison County Extension office parking lot.
This event is the idea of the "Yes We Can" 4-H club. Their club is sponsoring a "best decorated trunk" prize! Clubs provide their own trunk decorations. Winning trunk will receive Cappy's Pizza gift card.
4-H families can decorate and pass out candy (trick or treat style) from the trunk of their vehicles. This will be open to the public and gives the 4-H program a great opportunity to encourage membership. It also gives visiting parents the assurance safe treats. We are hoping that this idea takes off and becomes a community event
There will also be a Halloween Costume Contest at 6:30 p.m.
